Albert Ross Grayson, 75 of Gordonsville, died Friday March 4, 2022 at Martha Jefferson

Hospital. Born November 11, 1946 in Media, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Elvin

Ross Grayson and Anna Dyer Grayson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by

his brother, Jeff Grayson, two sisters, Judith Bragg, and Nancy Floyd, and his brother-in-law

Doug Bragg.

Albert is survived by two nieces, Tonya Marshall and her husband, William, of Afton, Sarah

Floyd of Louisa; nephew, Matthew Floyd of Hadensville; brother-in-law, Daniel Dowell of Louisa;

great niece, Samantha Haney of Gordonsville; great nephew, Logan Floyd of Hadensville;

special friends, Darlene Wilson, and Lisa Miller, and a host of other relatives.

Albert served in the United States Navy as a Seaman aboard the USS Grant County LST 1174,

He received a honorable discharge from active duty in 1971.

Albert was an avid reader, and loved anything written by Stephen King. He was also a history

buff, as well as a huge sports fan, specifically football.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
