Agnes Bernice Johnson, 65, of Mineral passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville. She was born October 7, 1959 in Charlottesville and was the daughter of the late Cleveland Frank Thomas Johnson and France Miser Johnson. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Lanuary Amos.
She is survived by a daughter, Levita Queenette Johnson of Mineral; brothers, Cleveland J. Johnson (Tammy) of Mineral, Kevin W. Johnson (Betty) of Louisa; sisters, Balinda Houchens and Gwendolyn Johnson both of Louisa, Kay Williams of South Carolina; grandchildren, Raheem Johnson, Raquell Carter, Dequan Johnson, Ny’Asia Carter; great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Malachi, Kingston, Lainey, Khyon, Khaliq, and Lux; a host of nieces & nephews; and close friends Elizabeth Dabney and Bernice Anthony.
There will be a memorial service held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 prior to the service.
