Never in a million years would I thought that I would be saying farewell to such amazing lady, she was my neighbor and friend, we had the best laughs and conversations daily. She was known for her famous delicious pound cakes which I looked forward to receiving . The neighborhood will never be the same, how can it be when the person we looked up to and loved is no longer here. I will miss you my friend/neighbor. To her Sons thank you for sharing your Mom with us.

We were blessed to have moved across the street from Mrs. Lurli Gay ten years ago. She was kind, energetic, organized, very knowledgeable, with a great sense of humor and giving of her time to always help others. She was a speed daemon on her lawn mower.....and awesome baker and sharer of her bake goods. Her strong faith in God was the center force for the wonderful friend and neighbor she was. She will be greatly missed by many.
