Frances “Tiny” Dodson, 65, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at the Martha Jefferson Hospital. She was born on April 21, 1955 to the late Rufus Edward Hartley and Sarah Jane Brown Hartley. She was preceded in death by her son, David “Bubba” Dodson and a number of siblings.

She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, William “Shorty” Dodson; two sons, Troy Dodson and wife Kelly, and Austin Dodson and wife Rebecca; and a number of grandchildren, brothers, and sisters.

Donations may be made to any cancer research center or Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, Va.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
