Ethel Nadean Manuel

Ethel Nadean Manuel went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 14, 2020 after her very short battle with cancer. She was born in Harlan, KY on November 24, 1942 to the late Lucy Hardy.
She is survived by her daughters, Frances Manuel, Tina Merryman and fiancé Rich Zubyk, Pam Garrison and her fiancé Kalil Mohammed, Rhiannon Manuel; sons, Michael Manuel, Curtis Manuel, Perry Manuel and fiancé Cyndi Johnson, Scott Manuel and wife Stacey; twenty-two grandchildren; and twenty-nine great grandchildren. As well as her sisters Neva Baker and Vickie Snead and brother, Gary Hardy.
Ethel will be remembered by her giving nature, passion for gardening, love for her dogs, and last but not least her honest direct way of communicating.

Family night will be held at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison on Wednesday, September 16th from 6-8pm. A graveside service will be held at 11am on Thursday, September 17th at Madison Memorial Gardens conducted by Pastor Josh Shifflett.
There are no words to express what Ethel has meant to us over the almost 40 years we have know her. A force to be reckoned with with a heart as giving as any we have ever known.

I got to know Ethel in the past few years and we loved to mess with each other. She was a hard case and yet a sweet lady. Going to miss her. Prayers to the family.
Dear Tina and family I am so sorry to hear that your mom has passed away. My heart goes out to all of you. Ethel was a wonderful lady and friend whom I will miss always. Please know you are in my prayers and heart and if you need anything please let me know. Love you all and just know she will live on through each of you. God has a beautiful Angel with him now.
